HOWTO: Create Video Files for WisTube
These directions assume you have already created and edited a video using either a Windows or Macintosh System. The two programs we will be using are Windows Movie Maker and iMovie. If you have any other software, please check their Help section to learn how to export video in the proper format for WisTube.WisTube accepts the following formats:
- Flash video (*.flv) - Preferred Format
- Audio-Video Interlaced (*.avi)
- Windows Media Video (*.wmv)
- MPEG-1 (*.mpg)
- Quicktime (*.mov, *.qt, *.mp4) - Same format as video for your iPod
Exporting video from Windows Movie Maker
To save a video for WisTube.com- Open your project in Windows Movie Maker
- In the Movie Tasks pane, under Finish Movie, click Save to my computer.

- The Save Movie Wizard appears. On the Save Movie File page, type a name for your movie. You may also choose a folder to save it in by clicking the Browse button. Remember where you saved the file! Then click Next.

- On the Movie Setting page, choose Other Settings and select High Quality Video (small) as the output format. Then click Next.
- Movie Maker will then save your movie, which might take several minutes. When you are done, come to WisTube.com, login, and click Upload
